PIPELINE INTEGRITY SPECIALIST

Job Purpose:

  • Provides professional and technical advice and consultancy an all aspects of pipeline integrity related to all company pipelines, advises and implement all technical measures to ensure Company 'No Hydrocarbon leak' policy is upheld.

  • Develops and updates the procedures of pipeline integrity management system (PIMS), as part of integrity management framework (IMF) with the aim of ensuring that all pipelines are designed, operated and maintained in a way so that business and HSE risks are eliminated or maintained ALARP.

  • Acts as custodian of PIMS to ensure proper implementation of such procedures by the assets units for supporting management of facilities integrity.

Minimum Requirements: 

  • B.Sc. in degree in Mechanical Engineering or other relevant engineering discipline.

  • 8-9 years experience in the oil & petrochemical industry covering all aspects of integrity, corrosion, inspection and engineering, of which at least 7 years should be in an integrity / inspection / corrosion related capacity.

  • Very good knowledge of English.

  • Age up to 50 years.

Salary & Other Benefits: 

  • Tax free & the salary is negotiable.

  • 42 days paid leave with passage within a calendar year.

  • Entitlement for unfurnished family accommodation at a cost of Dhs.200,000/-, plus furniture purchase allowance.

ELECTRICAL JOB INSTRUCTOR

Job Purpose: 

  • To develop and conduct operational / technical on the job training activities at Plant (in line with employees personal development plans) in order to improve the competence and effectiveness of all of the Plant's human resources and support the achievement of Emiratization target.

  • To provide on job training (OJT) to the operator / technician developees using the approved personal development plans (PDP) through the CAS system.

  • To provide on job training (OJT) to the engineer developees using the approved personal development framework (PDF) through the CAMS system.

  • To participate in the development of Company's annual training plan by assisting line personnel review, analyze and evaluate proposed training courses to ensure the courses support the organizational operational / technical training objectives and requirements.

  • To support the implementation of approved plans in Bu Hasa as per set timelines and quality standards in order to achieve the required skill levels in the technical functions.

  • To contribute to the development, implementation and regular review of the training policies, procedures and systems to ensure consistent & systematic application of best practices and to improve plan performance.

  • To review the technical requirments and procedures of technical / operational functions and develop on the job training (OJT) programs to ensure effective skill development of UAE National trainees.

Minimum Requirements:

  • Graduate degree in engineering in the respective discipline.

  • Minimum of 10 years experience in the maintenance of equipment of the respective discipline in Oil & Gas industry.

CATERING & ACCOMMODATION SECTION LEADER

Job Purpose:

  • Directs, supervises, controls all catering, accommodation and laundry services on Island and only coordinates these services in 3 Offshore locations to all Company Employees, Government officials and visitors, totalling to about 6,500 nos. (which enhances to 8,500 nos. during the shutdown period).

  • Controls monthly billing for all contractors and third party users of Company accommodation and catering facilities for a recoverable amount of about US$ 5 M per year.

  • Undertakes the preparation of the operating and capital annual budgets and controls expenditures of about US$ 18.5M a year.

  • Facilities include 2 kitchens, 1 central bakery, 3 restaurants, 2 snack bars, 16 Company and private clubs, central laundry, satellite laundry, approc. 2000 accommodation rooms and 7 material stores.

Minimum Requirements: 

  • Completion of Secondary education plus 2 years catering diploma from a recognized Institute.

  • 12 years experience in Catering and accommodation with a large company including minimum 3 years at supervisory level.

  • Exposure to computer/PC applications.

  • Possession of a valid UAE Driving license.

  • Very good knowledge of English and Arabic languages.

  • Age up to 50 years.

Salary & Other Benefits: 

  • Tax free & the salary is negotiable.

  • Free messing and accommodation (Bachelor status).

  • 28 days on-duty followed by 28 days off-site with passage.

  • Remote area allowance at the rate of Dhs. 1,700/- per month.

  • 12 Hours allowance at the rate of Dhs. 600/- per month.

SECURITY IT COMPLIANCE ANALYST

Job Purpose:

  • The Senior IT Compliance Analyst's primary purpose is to ensure compliance with the Information Security Policy and supporting standards on an ongoing basis by participating in IT projects to ensure security requirements are considered and met, measuring compliance before projects are implemented and enhancing the security controls by continuous review.

  • Responsibilities include security architecture, conducting risk analyses, and evaluating new data security technologies. The function is responsible for ensuring an effective balance between the cost of security controls and the value of the information being protected.

  • Assists in developing corporate security standards, processes, and best practices

  • Work is governed by Business and IT Strategies, Enterprise Architecture and general guidelines

  • Regular contact with Business Relationship Management to evaluate security impact of business solutions

  • Regular contact with Data Management to develop and review security policies related to data management

  • Regular contact with Enterprise Architecture to ensure alignment with broader architecture blueprint

  • Regular contact with Solutions Development to discuss security issues related to solution delivery.

Minimum Requirements: 

  • University degree (4 year Bachelor’s)

  • Hold or work towards industry recognized certification (CISA, CISM, CISSP)

  • Knowledge of industry security frameworks including ISO17799/27001, CoBit, and ITIL.

  • 5 years in Information Technology focused on Security

  • Experience with security policy compliance tools and control processes

  • Experience of Security Architecture Design and Implementation, Wireless Security, network security, system monitoring, Vulnerability Detection and Remediation, and Windows/Oracle security knowledge an asset.

SECURITY PLANNING ANALYST

Job Purpose:

  • The Information Security Analyst's primary purpose is to ensure compliance with the Information Security Policy and supporting standards on an ongoing basis by participating in IT projects to ensure security requirements are considered and met, measuring compliance before projects are implemented and enhancing the security controls by continuous review.

  • Responsibilities include security architecture, conducting risk analyses, and evaluating new data security technologies. The function is responsible for ensuring an effective balance between the cost of security controls and the value of the information being protected.

  • Develop and implement information security policies and procedures and actively contribute to the strategic planning process.

  • Assist with creating and maintaining sound security architecture for the company. The security architecture consists of various components dealing with the arrangements of the IT processes to suite a security model that ensures at all times the protection of information assets. Intimate knowledge of the interdependencies amongst system software, application software, network software and the multiple platforms at the company.

  • Development of an information security framework based on the ISO27001 standard that defines how people, technology, and process should be assembled to secure the environment and remain consistent with business objectives. The security framework must be based on these three components and must also ensure policy definition, enforcement, measurement, monitoring, and reporting for each one of the components. The framework must also: 1) identify risks to confidentiality, integrity, and availability for different business functions, and 2) reduce, transfer, or accept those risks.

  • Work with internal audit and outside consultants as appropriate for independent security audits.

  • Engage in end user meetings, as needed, to provide direction and consult on key risk items.

  • Provide the expertise to the market as it pertains to business protection topics: information security, and champion best practices related to these items as appropriate for each function and discipline

Minimum Requirements: 

  • University degree (4 year Bachelor’s)

INSTRUMENT & ELECTRICAL INSTRUCTOR

Job Purpose:

  • Train and develop company UAE Nationals in Electrical & Instrumentation engineering and related disciplines, based on gap analysis findings so that they achieve required knowledge and skills to perform according to the company standards.

  • Assess the competence of candidates against the established standards, and provide necessary co-ordination to ensure that the training activities are carried out effectively and efficiently.

  • Carry out gap analysis of the UAE national developees (electrical & Instrumentation Maintenance technicians, supervisors and Engineers). Identify the knowledge & skills that remain to be acquired.

  • Prepare relevant training scheduled based on the actual needs of population concerned.

  • Develop program curriculum and teaching materials related to discipline trainees needs.

  • Identify and arrange the learning resources/documents (such as training material, operating manuals, maintenance manuals, training manuals, technical drawings viz. PFD's, P&ID's, critical competency checklists, task based assessment lists, operations & maintenance procedures and standing instruction etc.) that are required by the trainees.

  • Write / update training modules and prepare other training materials required.

  • Liaise within MD and with various teams for preparation, review and implementation of the competency based development programs/personal development plans for UAE Nationals.

  • Co-ordinate with site management, with UAE National trainees, within MD for an effective implementation of training plan.

  • Conduct classroom training using various audio-visual aids, e-Learning and software simulator tools, to ensure that candidates acquire the required underpinning knowledge.

  • Use different techniques in classroom (like questioning - written / oral, presentation, etc.) to ensure that candidates have acquired the underpinning knowledge and take corrective action as required. Create and document knowledge evidence of the trainees.

Minimum Requirements: 

  • B.Sc. in Electrical/Electronics/Instrumentation Engineering discipline or equivalent qualifications.

  • Over 5 years of Electrical/Instrumentation Maintenance experience in upstream oil/gas industry and at least 3 years of teaching / training experience.

  • Good knowledge of competency based programs and VQ's.

  • Fluent in verbal and written English language.

  • Excellent presentation / interpersonal skills.

  • Highly computer literate.

  • Over 5 years of process/operations experience in upstream oil/gas industry and at least 3 years of teaching / training experience.

  • Good knowledge of competency based programs and VQ's.

  • Fluent in verbal and written English language.

  • Excellent presentation / interpersonal skills.

  • Highly computer literate.
